The largest World Congress on Clinical Dermatology, Aesthetic Medicine and Plastic Surgery (IMCAS) took place in Paris between 1-3 February 2024. Dr. Amalia Tsiatoura, Dermatologist – Venereologist, Scientific Director of Cosmetic Derma Medicine Medical Group and Cosmetic Derma Medicine was once again among the renowned guest speakers from around the world, where she presented her study on a therapeutic combination for the correction of signs of aging in the periocular area.
Dr. Anastasios Vekris, MD, Plastic Surgeon, Member of ISHRS (International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery), Founder of Advanced Hair Clinics and Director of Cosmetic Derma Medicine Medical Group was also a guest speaker at the conference. In his particularly scientifically significant study, Dr. Vekris conveyed to the delegates the latest developments on scar restoration using FUE hair transplantation. His presentation, entitled “Scar Reconstruction With FUE Hair Transplantation“, included many real-life cases, and he was invited to chair the relevant surgical panel, leading a very interesting and useful discussion among the participants and the audience.

Together with Dr. Amalia Tsiatoura, Cosmetic Derma Medicine was represented by Dr. Konstantina Mamali, Dermatologist – Venereologist, Deputy Scientific Director of CDM and Scientific Manager of CDM Kifissia and Dr. Sevasti Afantenou, Dermatologist – Venereologist and Scientific Director of CDM Glyfada, presenting at IMCAS 2024 innovative techniques, treatments and developments in the fields of Dermatology and Aesthetic Medicine. The presentations were made in front of an audience of more than 15,000 people in physical presence and many thousands more online.
Dr. Amalia Tsiatoura participated in the conference with her very interesting study entitled “Periorbital Skin Rejuvenation with Combination of HIFU, Eye Booster and Botulinum Toxin A. A Case Series of 53 Patients“, where she presented the impressive results of a triple combination of treatments for the correction of signs of aging in the periorbital area.
Dr. Konstantina Mamali participated in turn at IMCAS 2024 with a study entitled “Treating perioral “barcode” wrinkles with thread – mesobotox” presenting to the delegates the result of the correction of upper lip wrinkles with the combination of facial threads and mesobotox.
In turn, Dr. Sevasti Afantenou presented a new study entitled “Red light therapy for reduction of the duration and severity of herpes labialis” which focused on the treatment of herpes labialis with the help of red light.
