Although injectable, Profhilo is a skin booster moisturizing agent with hyaluronic acid for reconstruction, firming and deep rejuvenation of the face. The synthetic hyaluronic acid it contains does not give volume at the point of application but “spreads” under the skin.

Step by step

1st Step

The first step is always to cleanse the skin and remove make-up so that your skin can receive the beneficial treatment.

Then, the beautician applies anesthetic cream to the injection sites for about 20 minutes so that the treatment is completely painless.

2nd Step

The doctor marks the injection sites with a pencil. The Profhilo treatment is applied to a total of 10 points, 5 on each side of the face. A small syringe with a fine needle is used to inject a small amount of pure hyaluronic acid into the upper layers of the skin.

The material, which looks like a thin liquid gel, is spread under the skin, revitalizing it, smoothing small wrinkles and stimulating the natural production of collagen and elastin, giving a firmer, smoother and brighter skin.

Small bumps may appear after Profhilo treatment, which will subside within 24-48 hours. Patients can return to their normal daily activities immediately after treatment, but must adhere to the following guidelines:

For at least 2 days after the treatment, do not do any other aesthetic surgery.
Avoid touching the treated area or applying makeup for 24 hours to avoid displacing the Profhilo filler.
Strenuous exercise is prohibited for at least 24 hours after treatment
Swimming is prohibited for at least 48 hours after treatment
For at least 7 days after treatment avoid exposure to extreme temperatures, such as heat or frost.

In addition, it is recommended that you avoid alcohol, aspirin, or anti-inflammatory drugs 24 hours before treatment. Vitamins C and E can also increase the chance of bruising, but after 48 hours you can continue taking them.
