What is it Facial Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy was first developed in 1952 from a French practitioner, called Dr. Michel Pistor, and it is a therapeutic technique of multiple injections, in which little quantities of drugs and other therapeutic agents are injected under the skin. Mesotherapy is one of the most modern and effective treatments, as it targets exactly the part of skin that need to be repaired and it offers a natural result.

The application of Facial Mesotherapy is indicated in cases of dehydration and relaxation of the skin, loss of firmness, as well as after prolonged exposure to the sunlight (skin photoaging).

During Mesotherapy, a small amount of mesotherapy solution is applied on the skin surface, and with injections or with micro needling the solution can reach deeper layers of skin. One of the advantages of Mesotherapy is that it rejuvenates skin with the use of natural ingredients, vitamins and hyaluronic acid, and at the same time the skin itself produces collagen and hyaluronic acid because of the tiny injuries that occur to the skin.

Sometimes, genetic background can lead to skin aging and can start at a young age, even from 25 years. As collagen and elastin fibers decrease, skin relaxation, fine lines and wrinkles appear.

How is it applied

Depending on the application method, Facial Mesotherapy can be either injectable or non-injectable. In non-injectable mesotherapy no needles are used, and the solution is penetrated into the skin with the help of tiny channels created on the skin surface with a special micro-needling device, also known as microneedling Mesotherapy.
