Presentation of clinical studies by Cosmetic Derma Medicine at the EADV conference

Dr. Konstantina Mamali, Dermatologist – Venereologist, Deputy Scientific Director of CDM Medical Group and Scientific Manager of CDM Kifissia, actively participated in the international conference EADV (European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology) that took place from 16 to 18 May.

The treatment of androgenetic alopecia, a very common disease in men and women, was the focus of Dr. Mamali’s presentation. At the same symposium, Dr. Amalia Tsiatoura and Dr. Sevasti Afantenou presented two interesting e-posters.

Dr. Mamali caught the attention of the participants with her very interesting and thorough study entitled “Presentation of a successful treatment protocol for androgenetic alopecia. A clinical study with 63 patients”. Dr. Mamali presented the pathology, the challenges, the treatment protocol she applied, and its results in the treatment of androgenetic alopecia.

Presentation of e-posters by Dr. Amalia Tsiatoura and Dr. Sevasti Afantenou

At this symposium, the Cosmetic Derma Medicine medical team also presented two significant e-posters. The first one was by Dr. Amalia Tsiatoura, Dermatologist – Aphrodisiologist and Scientific Director of CDM Medical Group, entitled “Periorbital Skin Rejuvenation with Combination of HIFU, Eye Booster and Botulinum Toxin A. A Case series of 53 Patients” and focused on combination treatments for skin rejuvenation in the periorbital area.

The second, entitled “Urticaria Induced after laser hair removal: a case series of 5 patients“, was a paper by Dr. Tsiatouras, Dr. Mamalis and Dr. Sevasti Afantenou, Dermatologist – Venereologist and Scientific Officer of CDM Glyfada, on the occurrence of urticaria after laser hair removal.
