Dr. Amalia Tsiatoura at the 8th World Congress of the Face Aesthetic Dermatologists Society

For another year, Dr. Amalia Tsiatoura, Dermatologist – Venereologist and Scientific Director of Cosmetic Derma Medicine, was invited as a speaker at one of the most significant conferences in the field of dermatology, the FADS World Congress & hands-on workshop on “Full Face Rejuvenation (non-surgical),” which took place from September 27-29 in New Delhi, India. Alongside Dr. Tsiatoura, Mr. Ioannis Christogiorgos, manager of Cosmetic Derma Medicine in the city of Ioannina, also attended the congress.

This honorary invitation for Dr. Tsiatoura is becoming… an “institution”, as she has consistently been one of the top speakers in recent years and is regularly awarded for the results, innovation, and quality of her clinical work.

Combination of HIFU, PDRN & Botulinum Toxin A Treatments for a Youthful Neck

During the conference, Dr. Tsiatoura presented her study on the combination of treatments for anti-aging in the neck area, entitled “Neck Rejuvenation with a Combination of HIFU, Polynucleotides (PDRN) & Botulinum Toxin A.” The study involved 49 patients, and Dr. Tsiatoura discussed the methodology of the different applications (HIFU, polynucleotides, and botulinum toxin A) and the enhanced results achieved by combining them.

As Dr. Tsiatoura explained, the combination of HIFU (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound) and PDRN with botulinum toxin type A is a safe, minimally invasive therapeutic approach with excellent results in rejuvenating neck skin. This combined protocol targets neck and lower face structures that contribute to neck skin aging.

Furthermore, botulinum toxin type A appears to have better performance and longer-lasting effects when applied as part of a protocol that includes an energy-based device and injectable PDRN.

Finally, Dr. Tsiatoura elaborated on the addition of polynucleotides (PDRN) to combination anti-aging therapy for the neck, highlighting this innovative and promising material, which has multiple applications in rejuvenation and anti-aging treatments.

During the conference, Dr. Tsiatoura was awarded for her consistent contribution to scientific knowledge regarding Aesthetic Medicine treatments.
