CDM sponsors the Madame Figaro "Women of the Year" Awards

Cosmetic Derma Medicine and Madame Figaro Cyprus: an evening of inspiration for women who have distinguished themselves for their creativity.

At the Municipal Theater of Nicosia, the 20th Madame Figaro Awards – Cypriot Women of the Year 2025, on October 14, were filled with stories of women with dedication, commitment, innovation, talent, and creativity. Women who, through their actions, reflect the ideals of Cypriot society. Who inspire, pave the way, and illuminate the lives of others with their strength.

Cosmetic Derma Medicine was there, a proud supporter of an institution that for two decades has been highlighting inspiring female role models. The evening was presented by Estée Lauder and had all the elegance it deserved, with Zeta Makrypoulia as host and a special musical opening by Giorgos Perris with the Commandaria Orchestra.

CDM had an active presence on stage: in the category “Creator of the Year”, the award was presented by Maria Bountakidou, Assistant Clinic Manager of Cosmetic Derma Medicine Cyprus, together with Nikolas Kythreotis, Executive Director of Intercollege—a moment that highlighted the value of creativity as a force for progress.

The audience was honored by the presence of personalities from the political and artistic spheres, including the First Lady of the Republic of Cyprus, Filippa Karseara Christodoulidou, Anna Vissi—who received an honorary award for her overall contribution—and Lakis Gavalas. We also saw Zeta Makrypoulia, George Perris, Speaker of the House Annita Dimitriou, and many other guests from the Cypriot business and creative scene on the red carpet.

The winners stood out in nine categories—from Actress and Musician to Scientist/Academic, Innovation, Fashion & Jewellery Designer, Athlete, Creator, and Professional/Entrepreneur—with 52,147 readers voting to select the big names of the year. The evening also had a strong charitable impact, as the proceeds from ticket sales, €15,038, were donated to a charitable foundation.
