Physician Dr. Alexandros Makris

Dr. Alexandros Makris graduated from the Medical School of the University of Ioannina and subsequently specialised in General Surgery at the General Hospital of Ioannina “G. Hatzikosta”. This experience gave him direct exposure to surgical anatomy, tissue management and complication prevention — all of which shape his approach to every aesthetic treatment today.

In 2021, he completed a Master’s thesis at the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, entitled “Surgical Oncology of the Skin, Soft Tissues and Vascular Anomalies”, graduating with a grade of 9.37/10. This specialisation in skin and soft tissue pathology is today an integral part of his clinical thinking, both in aesthetic medicine and in his dermatological management of patients. Within the scope of his academic activity, he has published a paper on Plantar Melanoma and has participated in the 14th Panhellenic Congress of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.

Since April 2024, he has been working as a physician at Cosmetic Derma Medicine, where he trained under Dr. Amalia Tsiatoura, Scientific Director of the clinic, in the internationally recognised aesthetic medicine protocols of the group. His clinical activity covers a broad range of aesthetic treatments for the face and body. He is also actively involved in clinical dermatology, treating skin conditions with the same individualised approach that characterises his work in aesthetic medicine.

Alongside his collaboration with CDM, he is a resident in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at the General Hospital of Athens “G. Genimatas”, and holds a licence to practise medicine in Germany (Approbation als Arzt).

He is fluent in English and German.
