Dr. Zampeta’s study on the biology of skin ageing and sun damage
In her presentation on the biology of skin aging and sun damage, Dr. Zampeta discussed the multifaceted process that causes skin aging and the factors, both intrinsic and extrinsic, that contribute to it. In her conclusion, the physician pointed out that understanding the complexity of the skin aging process is crucial to developing effective interventions. “Regular application of sunscreens and antioxidants, combined with healthy lifestyle choices, can prevent and manage the signs of skin aging. This integrated approach can significantly improve skin health outcomes and reduce the risk of photoaging-related conditions, particularly skin tumors,” he concluded.
