Plastic Surgeon Dr. Evangelos Vasalos

Dr. Vangelis Vasalos is a specialised plastic surgeon, member of HESPRAS (Hellenic Society of Plastic Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgery), registered in the Specialist Registry of the Medical Association of Athens, the European Medical Association, whereas he is a member in a number of Greek and International scientific societies.

He completed his undergraduate education at the Medical University “Carol Davilla” of Bucharest. He specialized for many years in Plastic Surgery, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, Microsurgery, Trauma and Burns at the University Hospital of Bucharest and Aesthetic Center “Milenio” of Lisbon Portugal.

After receiving the specialty of Plastic Surgery, he worked as Consultant at the Plastic Surgery Center Metamorphosis and Medical Director of the Clinic of Plastic Surgery performing a large number of surgical cases and rehabilitations at Medicover hospital and Metropolitan. He specialized in aesthetic cosmetic surgery and restoration at some of the most renowned centers abroad, among others in Portugal, Germany, Holland, Romania, U.K., Italy, Texas USA.

Following a course of extensive study and  research in his long practice he was awarded by the National Forensic Medical Institute of Bucharest “Mina Minovici” with the highest academic title obtaining the degree of Doctor in Medical Science ( DMSc ) with the Doctorate thesis: “Criteriological evaluation of forensic consequences of incidents, accidents and therapeutic errors in aesthetic surgery “, abbreviated Ph.D.

Plastic surgeon Dr. Vangelis Vasalos has extensive experience in treatment of trauma, skin grafts, scar treatment, microsurgery, nerve reconstructions, burns and in hand surgery. He is a highly trained surgeon and is considered to be one of the leading experts in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery on liposuction combined liposculpture using the Vibro technique, autologous fat transplants, fat grafts, abdominoplasty, breast surgery,  reduction and lift, breast augmentation with autologous fat transplant or with implants, rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, otoplasty, face and neck lift, having performed a large number of innovative operations worldwide. His patients include many internationally renowned personalities from the world of show business, media and business.

He has been Scientific Director and Director of Medical Education and Research of select International Medical Group Centers and Clinics. He has been abroad for over 20 years and involved with the Plastic surgery of trauma, restoration, burns, microsurgery and Aesthetic surgery having performed more than 3000 cases, in Greece and abroad.

Thanks to his specialization in Vibro-lipo and development of the Vibro technique, he has performed a significant number of difficult and specialized cases of body contouring, autologous fat transplant, Vibro-liposuction, liposculpture and restoration of fat dysmorphia surgeries with the Vibro technique.

He has been invited as a speaker, trainer and coordinator at many Greek and International medical events, conferences and workshops and has published numerous scientific papers on various aspects of plastic and aesthetic surgery, research and restoration, having participated in a vast number of Greek and International conferences. For several years he participated in the Worldwide Congresses amongst International Societies of Plastic Surgery as well as the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery ( ISAPS ).

His scientific papers have been published in various authoritative medical journals. He has published articles in daily newspapers and numerous magazines and has participated as a guest in many media shows of medical interest.
