Apart from being a revolutionary facial rejuvenation treatment, PRP is used for back and décolletage rejuvenation and it is also recommended for preventing hair loss, and as a complementary therapy for supporting hair transplants.

When combined with CO2 Fractional Laser treatment, Autologous Mesotherapy PRP accelerates and increases the rejuvenation rate of the epidermis, achieving the best possible results. CO2 Fractional Laser revolutionary method accelerates natural collagen and elastin production, leading to long-lasting remodeling. The combination of these two therapies is called Total Plasma Lift and achieves the most impressive results in facial rejuvenation.

PRP effects (via infusion or DermaPen Micro-Needling) are immediate and get progressively better as your skin produces new collagen and elastin.

Depending on the condition being treated, you may need a single or more sessions. The results are long-lasting – in some cases lasting up to a year – and the procedure is quick, safe and virtually painless.

Depending on the extent of the specific treatment area, the first stage of PRP treatment involves collecting the amount of blood needed (approx. 5-15ml) through a virtually painless blood sampling procedure, and spinning it in a centrifuge to isolate Platelet-Rich Plasma. Platelet-Rich Plasma will then be activated with the use of an activating agent, such as a solution of nucleotides (PRP with DNA activator) and calcium ions. The activated blood platelets produce growth factors, responsible for stimulating proliferation of fibroblasts and keratinocytes which produce collagen and elastin, enhancing the repair of damaged tissue, attracting undifferentiated stem cells into the newly formed matrix and triggering cell division. Finally, the enriched plasma is injected painlessly into the areas requiring regeneration with a very fine needle. The method leads to long-lasting contouring and taut, plump, youthful skin.

At Cosmetic Derma Medicine, Autologous Mesotherapy, PRP treatment can be applied via two different techniques, with regular needle injections or with DermaPen Micro-Needling. During the minimally-invasive DermaPen Micro-Needling treatment, a device covered with tiny needles is used to cause “micro-injury” that boosts collagen production and helps Platelet-Rich Plasma reach the desired depth.
