A solution of local anesthesia (tumescent anesthesia – xylocaine (lidocaine) with adrenaline) is inserted through two tiny holes (diameter of less than 2mm) with the help of a thin cannula. At this stage the subcutaneous adipose tissue is completely anesthetized and the patient does not feel pain.

After inserting local anesthesia solution in the area of treatment, a very thin ND-Yag Laser optical fiber is inserted through the holes. This laser scans the entire subcutaneous area leading to the melting and liquefaction of subcutaneous fat, as well as to neocollagenogenesis in the area by activating the fibroblasts which are the cells that produce collagen and elastin, causing tightening.
