Mesotherapy is the injection of certain substances underneath the dermal layer of the skin (injection mesotherapy or injection-free mesotherapy) into the subcutaneous fat tissue in the area selected, with the purpose of correcting many and different skin problems.
Lipolysis Mesotherapy is applied in areas where we want to reduce localized fat, improve cellulite and loose inches.
In Cosmetic Derma Medicine, we perform both injection mesotherapy, and injection-free (needle-free) mesotherapy.
Get rid of localized fat with lipolysis mesotherapy
Needle-free mesotherapy is based on electroporation, and involves the use of a special device (roller) that creates small channels on the skin’s surface through which the mesotherapy solutions enter via the epidermis and reach the required depth.
The aim of mesotherapy is to transfer specific substances under the skin. This cannot be achieved by the application of topical creams.
The mesotherapy solutions contain lipolytic (fat dissolving) substances such as phosphatidylcholine, caffeine, various amino acids, antioxidants and vitamins.
Mesotherapy is a simple, fast, side-effect free and relatively painless treatment. Patients are able to resume their normal activities immediately after treatment.
At least 6-8 sessions are recommended at intervals of 10 to 14 days.
Mesotherapy can be performed on buttocks, abdomen, thighs, knees and upper arms.
The cost of lipolysis mesotherapy starts at €110 for a small area.

FAQ’s on lipolysis mesotherapy
Lipolysis mesotherapy acts by transferring active fat-dissolving substances under the epidermis, directly at the heart of the problem. Its results are visible from the very first sessions. It leads to inch loss, cellulite reduction, and overall a better-looking skin. Mesotherapy has better results on small areas of localized fat. It does not treat obesity, nor is it a method to lose weight.
In Cosmetic Derma Medicine, we use two different methods of mesotherapy: the traditional mesotherapy that uses injections, and the needle-free mesotherapy. In the first case, the fat-dissolving agent is injected via fine needles on the areas we wish to address. Pain is minimal and most patients describe it as a mosquito bite. Patients with lower pain thresholds may choose the second method. By using a special device (roller) or the DermaPen, we create small channels on the skin’s surface through which the mesotherapy solutions reach the required depth. In this case, there is no pain.
The number of sessions depends on the problem we wish to address, and the result we want to achieve, which will be thoroughly discussed during your first visit. Six to 8 sessions are usually required at intervals of 10 to 14 days. After the session, the patient may experience a slight burning sensation at the site of the treated area, an indication that the lipolysis process has begun. Immediately following treatment the patient can return to his/her daily activities including work.
Cosmetic Derma Medicine is one of the few centers that use both mesotherapy techniques (traditional and needle-free), as well as specific, drastic solutions. The treatment is always performed by the clinic’s specialized medical and nursing staff, with absolute safety and excellent results. Moreover, we use many different solutions – “cocktails” – depending on the effect we wish to have: lipolysis, skin tightening, and cellulite treatment.
